Unihelper was developed back in 2018 together with students, researchers in group dynamics, educators, and student counselors; more than 20,000 students have since used it.

Through this process, we learned that our algorithm needed to focus on grouping students based on specific criteria, such as geographical conditions and genders, shared goals and ambition toward studies, and diverse competencies and roles related to group work.

This allows us to create groups that are diverse in terms of gender, background, and age, have equal expectations, and finally, have the ability to leverage each other's different skills to solve more complex problems.
